Surrounded by a centuries-old tree-filled garden, located on a hill overlooking the beautiful and enchanting countryside, rises Tenuta Colavecchio. The house was built in the nineteenth-century to allow to the Colavecchio family to live close to the orchards and vineyards they farmed. Now over 200 years on the farm and historic winery are still in business. Far from the noise of the city, Tenuta Colavecchio is the ideal place to spend unforgettable days in tranquility, marked by the scents and colours of the changing seasons. During your stay you'll enjoy delicious breakfasts prepared according to traditional Pugliese recipes (jams, cakes, etc..), seasonal fruit (cherries, grapes, figs, almonds, etc..) harvested from the surrounding countryside and other local products (hand-crafted biscuits, etc.).. You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy pleasant walks in the seemingly timeless surroundings of the B&B, readin the various relaxation areas which dot the garden and practise bird watching. Thorough renovations have been carried out in respect of the place and the environment , using materials of the highest value that , where possible, come from environmentally sustainable sources. This renovation work has restored Tenuta Colavecchio to its original charm, revealing the old plaster and frescos.
